Terms of Use
Last updated: August 2026
1. Acceptance Of Terms
By using Plan Ahead you accept these terms. If you don't accept them, don't use the app.
2. What The App Is For
Plan Ahead is a personal day planner. It is built for writing down your tasks, placing them on your calendar and reflecting on your day. It is for personal, non-commercial use.
It is not a health app. It does not provide medical, psychological or professional advice, and it is not a substitute for any diagnosis or treatment.
3. There Is No Account
You don't need to sign up, so there are no credentials for you to protect. Your data sits on your device, and your device and its backups are your responsibility.
4. Your Content Is Yours
Everything you create in the app belongs to you. Because that content never reaches us, we hold no rights or license over it.
5. Data Loss
Since your data exists only on your device, losing your device, deleting the app or resetting your phone takes the data with it. We hold no copy and cannot restore it. We recommend exporting regularly.
6. What You May Not Do
You may not use the app in violation of any law, attempt to reach its source code by reverse engineering, or copy and distribute it without permission.
7. Pricing
The app is free right now. Some features may become paid in the future. If that happens you'll be told in advance, and you'll keep access to everything you created up to that point.
8. No Warranty
Plan Ahead is provided “as is.” We don't guarantee that it will run uninterrupted or error-free.
9. Limitation Of Liability
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect damages, data loss or reminders that failed to fire, arising from your use of the app.
10. Walking Away
With no account in play, we can't block you or shut off your access. You can leave any time by deleting the app, and you don't have to tell anyone.
11. About Apple
You obtained the app through the App Store. Apple is not a party to these terms and is not responsible for the app. We alone are responsible for support, maintenance and any claims. Apple is a third-party beneficiary of these terms and has the right to enforce them against you.
12. Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. Continuing to use the app after an update means you accept the new terms.
